  4. Quality matters. Higher quality products that better reflect their business and brand are high on the list for marketers who want more impact than a promotional pen or note pad can provide – though standard items have their place, too. As with any targeted marketing effort, spending more per piece to make a lasting impression to a smaller target audience beats a spray-and-pray approach every time.
